A great review does not just rate a business — it helps the next person make a better decision. Whether your experience was excellent or terrible, how you describe it matters.
Be Specific
Instead of writing terrible service, explain what happened. I ordered a laptop on March 5th, was promised delivery within 7 days, and it arrived 3 weeks later with no communication from the company is useful. Bad company, do not buy is not.
Be Fair
Every business has off days. If your single experience was negative, say so — but acknowledge if it might have been unusual. If you have used the business multiple times and the problem is consistent, that context helps other readers.
Include the Resolution
Did the business try to fix the problem? A review that says the delivery was late, but when I contacted support they expedited a replacement and gave me a discount on my next order tells a much richer story than just late delivery.
Update When Things Change
If you left a negative review and the business later resolved your issue, update your review. An updated review is one of the most valuable things on any review platform because it shows how a business handles problems.
