Absolutely not. No business can pay to have reviews removed, hidden, or pushed down in the results. Reviews are only removed if they violate our Community Guidelines — for example, if they contain hate speech, threats, personal information, or are demonstrably fake. Our moderation process is transparent and applies equally to all businesses.

Business ratings are calculated as a simple, transparent average of all verified user reviews. We do not apply secret weighting algorithms and we do not adjust scores based on any business relationship. What you see is the genuine average of what real people have reported.

If you believe a business is operating fraudulently, leave an honest review describing your experience with specific details. You can also use the Report button on the business listing page to flag it for our moderation team. We take scam reports seriously and investigate every flag.

Yes. You can edit your review at any time to update it. You can also delete your review entirely. We encourage updating reviews rather than deleting them, as an updated review that shows how a business handled a problem is extremely valuable to other users.

We use a combination of email verification, behavioral analysis, and community reporting to detect and remove fake reviews. All reviewers must verify their email address. Patterns that suggest fake activity are flagged automatically. Our community can also report suspicious reviews for human review.

Business owners can claim their listing by signing up for a free business account and verifying their ownership. Once verified, you can update your business information, respond to reviews, and add photos. Claiming your listing is free and does not give you any ability to modify or remove customer reviews.

Yes. Our platform code is publicly available and anyone can inspect it, suggest improvements, report bugs, or contribute features. We believe that a review platform asking people to trust it should itself be completely transparent.
